| Saru provide lead filling and lead lining services for steel fabrications that are required to hold radioactive materials.The two methods of lead filling we provide are hot lead filling (also known as lead pouring) and cold lead lining. The two different methods depend on the types of fabrications and circumstances that they are required. Hot filling involves us casting molten lead directly into the fabrication under carefully controlled conditions in order to avoid shrinkage cavities. Alternatively, we can line a fabrication with rolled, extruded or machined lead in a process known as cold filling which is used extensively for shileding. |
